It was cold.  Dad had left them on the floor.  I found them.  My paws were cold. I was going to figure out how to put them on later.

    This really got me laughing out loud....what a cheeky puppy , dad needs to learn to put his socks in the basket, then you would not have "borrowed" them !!

    I tried this defence, Miss Kristine, but based on my previous activities the judge declined to accept it as reasonable. I still maintain it was Dad's fault.
